A zip gun is a very basic “improvised firearm”, often little more than a short length of pipe, a few easy to make components and a rubber band to power a firing pin. It's quick to make and very basic... like a slingshot on steroids!

A “Zip Gun Guide” is a home built, but hopefully useful book (or e-book) about something. Like the zip gun it should be quick and simple, and it should “get the job done”, but with less of a downside if something goes wrong.
